name change on app?

Is this possible? Or do I have to change on the website first and then log back into the app?

Thanks for asking about this. Unfortunately, you can't change your username within the app at present. Sad

For now, then, you'll need to log in to the Mumsnet website and access your account options if you need to change names.

We'll update our handy MN App FAQs document to make this clear.

You can enter a username that you already own when posting in order to post using that username temporarily (just enter it in the username box at the top).

However, if you want to a register a new username or permanently switch to one that you already own, yes, you'll need to do that on the website at the moment. Then when you next open the app, the change of username should sync to it.
