Can't log in on ipad

Any ideas? I can log in on the phone and via the app but not on the desktop site on the ipad. It allows me to put in my u/name and p/word but returns to the Topics page without actually logging in.

Have cleared the cache, cookies are allowed on the site. Have upgraded to ios 9 if relevant. What should I try next? It must be something obvious I've missed!

hmm, do you get any kind of error message or it just bounces?

What happens when you try and post or is there no option to?
