WHY OH WHY can't I change my email address on MN ?

Tried loads of times. Keep getting an error page.

Not happening for me.

Somebody is taking the piss. I changed my christian name in my account and the change has saved. Has my email change been saved ? FUCK NO

I just did mine without issue. Put it in, added password, it says it's changed but it hasn't but then when you go to the orginal e-mail account there is a lovely link to click and only then it changes on your account.

Log out and then log in and try again? I think there's a delay with some changes.

I have got to that page where you confirm the email change but it says "error"

and why will it change some of my account details and not others ?

Definitely sounds odd. Have you tried reporting this thread and seeing if you can get some help that way?

I changed my email address but it didnt immediately show up as a change online. I had to verify the new email address later. Have you checked your new email inbox properly and junk folder for a link?

I get to end of the links. Get asked to put my password in to verify the change then what looks like the very last page is an error message

I changed mine yesterday, when I did it the old emai, address showed until I went and found the confirmation email, clicked on the link and I think you had to re-enter password. Did you not get an email?

I have had a dozen bastard emails inviting me to click the verification of new email button

It goes to an error page and my email doesn't change (even though on the same page has been updated)

Tried over and over. Sure it is a glitch.

Mine is the same - tried several times at various points over the last few days and it seems to work up until I get the confirmation email, but when I attempt to click on the link to 'confirm' the change, it just directs me to an error page and doesn't actually change anything.

Same here, it did work on the 5th attempt. I don't know why though as I didn't do anything different to the first 4 attempts

Can someone tell me how to screenshot the error page I keep getting please ?

What browser are using? Sometimes Chrome won't let me do stuff that Firefox will and vice versa....

AF mine did this, turned out it was due to using an old email that I'd had associated to a, now long defunct, previously registered account.

Could that be it? I emailed [email protected] and they checked it out really quickly for me.
