Keep having to log in

ScrambledSmegs · 07/08/2015 09:50

I have 'Keep me logged in' checked so really shouldn't have to do this. But every time I want to look at Threads I'm On I get directed to the log in page.

Any chance of fixing this please? Ta Brew

MNHQ - it's not happened again since I posted (Thurs I think) so it's ok (at least for me!) on Apple Mac Chrome.

nogravitasatall · 16/08/2015 12:51

Hi, this has been happening to me too. I use a chrome book and it's not even asking to store the password. I changed password just in case the first time, but definitely not keeping me logged in.

Realitea · 16/08/2015 20:51

I'm being logged out constantly. I hope it doesn't mean someone else is logging as me somewhere else?

DramaAlpaca · 17/08/2015 09:58

It's taken me three attempts to log in today.

Finally got in when I went to TIO and logged in from there.

BeccaMumsnet · 17/08/2015 12:54

Hi everyone - Tech have sorted a fix for this and there shouldn't be any further problems, but please do continue to post if you have any more trouble. Thank you so much for your patience Flowers

CarrotPuff · 17/08/2015 13:13

I am still getting logged out on my phone on mobile site. However, this was an issue before the update too. Using iPhone4, Safari. I have "keep me logged in" box ticked but still get logged out if the browser decides to refresh the page.

tiktok · 17/08/2015 15:26

Still happening on my iPhone (iPhone 5s). Seems ok on MacBook Air. Haven't tried the iPad today.

BeccaMumsnet · 17/08/2015 16:01

Hi CarrotPuff and tiktok - would you mind clearing your cookies on your iPhones to see if that helps? Thank you.

tiktok · 17/08/2015 17:19

That seems to have done the trick thank you!

CarrotPuff · 17/08/2015 20:08

I've just cleared my cookies but can't tell if it's working yet. I normally get logged out overnight so will report in the morning! Thank you for looking into it!

CarrotPuff · 18/08/2015 16:57

Well the above didn't help, still keep getting logged out on the phone. Any other ideas?

BeccaMumsnet · 18/08/2015 17:09

Hi CarrotPuff - everyone was logged out of the site shortly in order to sort a password reset. Please do check this thread for details. This is likely to be what caused the issue this time around.

Nc19999992 · 18/08/2015 17:10

I'm still being logged out, and I've had to change my password as it just didn't like my normal one..!

tiktok · 18/08/2015 17:39

It's happened again. Getting a bit tired of it!

tiktok · 18/08/2015 17:41

Just reading the other thread about the hackers.....maybe it was this :(

Sorry - will assume all is well from now on.

CarrotPuff · 18/08/2015 17:51

It wasn't just once. Just had to reset my password, I'll see how it goes, but I doubt it fixed anything.

EmmaGellerGreen · 18/08/2015 17:52

Twice here today.

MissDemelzaCarne · 18/08/2015 18:20

It's taken me ages to log in, had to reset my password in the end.

I also had to re-set my password.

MissDemelzaCarne · 18/08/2015 18:46

I've now clicked on BeccaMumsnet's link and it all makes sense now.

RandomMess · 18/08/2015 20:05

Couldn't get logged in at all today had to use FB in the end. Thoroughly fed up.

icelollycraving · 18/08/2015 20:07

Have you all read the other thread?

Singsongsung · 19/08/2015 10:12

My app isn't letting me log in at all. Is this happening to others?

POTC · 21/08/2015 00:37

singsongsung your app keeps your log in details, mumsnet have forced a second password change this week and therefore the log and details your app is using are incorrect and need changing
