A few of us on the conception boards were wondering if we could get some Christmassy Emoticons to use during the festive period???

Just found them.....

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 04/12/2006 07:47

MNHQ decided that festive angry, sad and envy would be inapproriate (I personally think they are just colourist... they yellow smilies all got hats )

JustineMumsnet · 04/12/2006 08:39

Good-day,
The original plan was to make smileys posted appear with hat and at that point we thought that perhaps it would be insensitive for a santa hat to appear on someone's sad emoticon. Now Tech's decided the opt-in route is the way the to go, don't see any reason why we can't have the full range available with santa hats... Flamesparrow could you possibly oblige? Thanks,
MNHQ

Xmas Sad

just checking....

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 04/12/2006 09:22

Oh, missed this - I can't do it today - I'm not at home (and my mum is rude and doesn't have photoshop... can either wait til tonight or someone else can play?)

sunnywong · 04/12/2006 09:27

why can't there be a sad santa too?

it may be appropriate in some cases, like just before the Queen's Speech when people's hideous PILs are being snydey to their dhs and no bugger is giving a hand with the washing up.

SaintGeorge · 04/12/2006 10:00

Have emailed MNHQ with sad, envy and angry versions which will hopefully be useable.

JustineMumsnet · 04/12/2006 10:04

Hi Sunnywong,
There can be and it's coming - see my earlier post. Good news is St George has just sent us some more so we'll have the full range available. We'll get up them on the site asap.

I've sent an extra one as well Justine. A drunk one for those who over indulge during the party season

SaintGeorge · 04/12/2006 10:14

FLAMEinEckItsYuleAgain · 04/12/2006 10:44

Yay!!! Was gettin all worked up that they needed doing and I couldn't get home (I have a sad sad life ) - I'd been considering a drunk/hungover one too...

RudolphsREADY · 04/12/2006 11:20

Thanks very much!!!!!

I don't want to sound ungrateful , but was really hoping for a little mini christmas tree. Is it a possibility?

I'll understand if it's a no go! But if you don't ask, you don't get... so thought it was worth a shot [xmastree]
