What about the 'other one'? Wasn't there 2 founders? What happened to the other one whose name I can't remember?

Hello. Hello. My ears are burning. So in a nutshell here's how it all went. I went on terrible holiday with me baby twins in Nov 99. Whilst there I decided to start a website where mums could share advice on stuff (including holidays). Came back - mentioned it to Carrie - pal from antenatal class - and Steve (the origninal Tech) who was a mate from Uni who, handily, could write code. Roped 'em in. About a year and half later asked Rachel (another friend from antenatal class) to help out, as Carrie was pregnant and going off on maternity leave.

Rachel's still here doing books webchats and stuff. Carrie does a lot of ambassadorial whatnot - speaking events and meeting great and good type stuff. Steven was still coding up until about a year ago but now is teaching programming in NYC. He came over this week for our pardee though. ThingieMumsnet must be the one who's swimming with the fishes. TSSDNCOP.

I am distraught .... distraught, I tell you ..... that Steven (Main Tech) has left Sad but I assume he walked away with a nice, fat cheque though? Grin

Ach techs don't need money - they wouldn't know what to do with it. Look at that Bill Gates - has to give it all away. Grin
