webchat idea - what do other mumsnetters think?

I had an idea for a webchat and have run it past hq. But they'd like to see what other mumsnetters think and what the popular opinion is.

I suggested the possibility of getting Mara Clarke, founder of the abortion support network on to do with a webchat. ASN help Irish and northern Irish women travel to England to access abortions.

In light of the current political climate and the very recent documentary on BBC3 about Ireland and abortion, it could be a very interesting discussion.

What does everyone else think?

in the past they have suspended new registrations for a while prior tot he webchat (e.g. with politicians). i agree with careful moderation. this is such an important topic that it must not be derailed
