I've just had a look at the Local board for my area to see if there was anything interesting happening, and it's so quiet. I'm not sure if it's just the ones I check (Leeds and Bradford) or if all of them are like this. There's probably about 1 post a month (not even a new thread a month) and a few unanswered. I try and answer what I can but I don't know the areas that well.
Is it just me or are all of the Local boards like this?
It seems like such a shame as I'd love to find out info about local events and groups I can take my dd to, or other stuff happening. Even just general chit chat about the area and recommendations on things to do/places to visit would be ace. I hate to admit it, but the Other Side is brilliant for this kind of info. I don't want to get sucked in to their glittery black hole though
