Using Windows 8 and Mozilla Firefox. Even worse when I was using Chrome.
It's been like this for a few hours now, pages just hanging or that annoying circle spinning round.
Have cleared cookies etc, just wondering if the issue is my end or if others having problems too. Other web pages are loading fine though.

Slow here on iPad. Slightly better than it was earlier but still far from normal.

TheOnlyOliviaMumsnet · 22/10/2014 00:06

Sorry about this we are on the case.

cozietoesie · 22/10/2014 17:03

Same here - but as an add-on, for a short while or so, I've also been getting a large number of 'unresponsive script' warnings from FF which seem to be connected with the slow loading. They're only on MN and resolving them via FF with a block prevented me from posting, removed bookmarks, a whole bunch of stuff.

As I said, it's only on MN - and I visit a lot of sites.

cozietoesie I haven't had the unresponsive script on FF. I only seem to get that for Twitter.

I can still only view on FF, although on my tablet I can post.

I've got Windoze 8 on a laptop.

cozietoesie · 22/10/2014 19:44

I can't post etc if I block the script - maybe you've got an FF extension in place?

(Win 8 on a laptop as well.)

enWoooquethesythebearingwizard · 22/10/2014 20:10

It's only just started misbehaving and I haven't downloaded any extra extensions. But I will double check thanks cozie

TheLateKateMumsnet · 23/10/2014 16:52

Sorry folks

Any better?

enWoooquethesythebearingwizard · 23/10/2014 17:45

Testing Testing.
My posting issue was indeed Yes Script, which I'd had for a long time but which had only just started to affect MN.

enWoooquethesythebearingwizard · 23/10/2014 17:45

Thanks for the help Cozie Thanks Wine

OhYouBadBadKitten · 23/10/2014 17:56

Its better for me.

cozietoesie · 23/10/2014 19:16

No script messages for half an hour and things seem a bit quicker - no threads really hanging - so a qualified Yes, Rowan.

cozietoesie · 23/10/2014 19:20

Sorry - Kate. Blush

(There's clearly a problem with me.)
