I close it. I read a thread. I go back to the front page. It's back. I close it. I read another thread. I go back to the front page. It's back. I close it. I go somewhere else on the site. I go back to chat. It's back. I close it...

grr. It's bad enough having it appear once, but at least I thought I could close it, but it WON'T REMEMBER that I've closed it.

Yes same here, it's appearing on Active Convos using Firefox to access mobile site on Android phone.

I'm using a Windows Phone and the one about PMQ reappears every time I go to a new page (e.g. click on a thread). I have to close the slider every single time. On an average visit to Mumsnet, this involves having to close the slider dozens of times. Not cool.

'Think PMQs is outdated, unprofessional...etc' is the slider I have. Its on active convos. I have same set up as tally, on phone.

Yep, still there. Firefox, laptop. It's reloading very single time I change page.

Sliders still here on safari on iPhone if I go back to active conversations.

I'm getting the PMQs slider on a PC using Chrome. I've tried closing it but it still reappears when I go back to Active Convos.

I was just going to say it's the going back that doesn't clear it. Not sure which is more annoying constantly popping up sliders on the mobile site or the huge amount of stickies on the app. Argh.

an opt out would be good, I have just managed to train myself not to get cross when I stary onto the drop down pictures at the top of the page and get the whole caboodle about pregnancy stuff etc now I have a recurring and annoying little blue box sliding on downscreen... stop it already. Once I could cope with but every time I go onto something else it reappears. seems like you are onto it though so just have a whinge

Thank you for the feedback it is very helpful, we'll look into adding the option to opt out and report back.

We've released a fix which should address the closing problems some were having. If happens again for you give us a shout and we'll take another look.
