I actually counted to 60 while waiting for Threads I am on to load. Then another 60 for this thread to load.

You need more servers.

I'm not surprised have you seen the sheer amount of stuff that has to load up per page? That thing that follows you down the screen on the left doesn't help either.

How do you hide the very annoying ads?

I think it is querying with doubleclick. The ads take so long to load.

And those social buttons on the side are jumping up and down and fighting for space with the content.

Blocking the ads have only made a slight difference.

Before it loads it says stuff like "querying pinterest", contacting "twitter", etc, while waiting for everything to load one thing at the time.

Still dreadful for me - especially in Active Convos and Threads I'm On/Watching. They are taking aaaaaaaaages to load.

Am using iPad, Safari, desktop site.

Mine is slow - I end up killing flash player on the task manager and everything starts to work again. I'm using Firefox. I assumed it was because my laptop is incredibly full of photos and doesn't really have room for normal running.

I have an ad blocker (sorry MNHQ) and the site is still slower than a sloth.

I'm off to watch Fringe instead.

So many (different) issues with the site in the last few days! Tiresome.
