If you do add a smiley for the cycling, why can't Woolly Hugs have their [star]?

Star Star Star

We've been asking nicely for such a long time... Please?

Hi Owl,

We don't tend to create emoticons for groups on Mumsnet, but we are in awe of the great work the huggers do and we'll definitely consider it after the Bank Holiday weekend.

RebeccaMumsnet · 06/05/2014 09:58

Actually the Thanks emoticon was originally for the woolly huggers.

It was meant as a thanks to others for their hard work but also to be used across the boards to say thank you or give a bunch of flowers. A versatile emoticon one might say Wink

The Star wouldn't be purely for Woolly Huggers and far more versatile than a cycling one. Not that the two are mutually exclusive :)

Look how many times they type Star on the Hugs threads...

I'm not a woolly hugger, but I'd support an emoticon even it were especially for them, as they are such a generous and warm spirited bunch. It's the least they deserve. All the gin drinkers got their way!

Get rid of the stupid biscuit (which looks weird on my iPad anyway) and give them a star!

(Also why is the green face a heart on the iPad?)

Get rid of the stupid bear. It's pointless.
