The old chestnut of the User Name Amnesty?

I really do think a Username that was used for about a week and a half five years ago and has lain dormant ever since should be freed up. Maybe HQ could email dormant username owners and give them (say) thirty days to confirm they still want the name? Obviously some names should never be revived eg Mitmoo but I'm thinking the sort that posted once for innocuous advice and then drifted off, either nc-ing or to Another Site?

What do you reckon?

Can I ask for a brief summary on Mitmoo? It was before my time and I've asked before but no one ever answers - but I'm not sure if that's because you aren't meant to talk about her

I've been here 10 YEARS! I've named changed frantically to get something off my chest at silly hours of the day and night a zillion times.

You can have them all back, except my not so imaginative Christmas and Halloween ones, they're all mine!

Why shouldn't Mitmoo be revived?

There may be a pretend Mme Cholet on Style and Beauty. She will be one of the tall blonde ones often seen round here but I am more in the mould of the real MmeCholetofTheCommon.
