Forgotten to organise an Easter bonnet? Don't panic - we have the solution to your woes.

Watch our super-fast, super-simple Easter Bunny Bonnet video - all you need is a some card, one of those lovely googly eyes (or a felt tip pen), and a cotton wool ball. Works for both girls and bonnet-resistant boys - and positively no crafting talent required, we absolutely promise.

Here's the bunny template - now go, go, go!

UPDATE: we've now added another very easy Easter Bonnet video to the bottom. It's a sheepy spectacular - unisex, and rather suave...

And here's the new sheepy Easter bonnet video:

It's brilliant SirRaymond. Smile.

Much better than anything I could do.

Hope you feel better soon.

Its fabulous!

LEMmingaround · 03/04/2014 11:09

OMFG the fox hat - that is BRILLIANT!!!!

LEMmingaround · 03/04/2014 11:15

Sirraaymond that is one amazing hat righ there Envy My DD will not be using a four year old effort that is getting really old and tatty this year, oh no - we are going for full on shop bought tacktastic stick on chicks and eggs Hmm I'd love to do something like that but i am shite!

My DD had her eyes on the prize though - she told me she wanted one with a crucifix on because its a catholic school and "the ones that do religeous stuff always win mum" Hmm But there were no pre-made jesus on the cross things to dangle from the bright yellow hat so that idea was quickly scrapped in favour or a more traditional lazy approach!

LEMmingaround · 03/04/2014 11:16

Will the mumsnet academy be running short courses on how to make the hat in the video?

RowanMumsnet · 03/04/2014 11:22

@LEMmingaround

Will the mumsnet academy be running short courses on how to make the hat in the video?

Our playgroup used to get cardboard (unused!) bedpans from the local cottage hospital for the children to decorate and wear as easter bonnets

Dumbledoresgirl · 04/04/2014 09:12

I am rubbish at arty stuff, but good with wool. I made this for my son to wear today. (The chicks at the edge are designed to hang down when the hat is worn).

Wow you lot are so creative! I have two to make for my dts by Friday. Was going to work on them at the weekend but I forgot to buy a glue gun - will Hobbycraft have them (at huge markup I guess). And how do you make the little sheep please 5madthings on your dd's hat? Love those.

pictish · 07/04/2014 09:25
