i cant work out how to hide a complete topic. and i need to hide a complete topic.

my blood pressure is up already, i have not had any wine today for the first time in months, i have a cough, its that time of the month,

I've hidden a lot of boards that either don't interest me, or that I know would get me cross and damage my karma and spoil my day. FWR isn't one of them, although I do think 'WTF?' fairly often.
But as a primary teacher, I've hidden the Primary Ed boards, and you do far more good on the relationships boards than I will ever do, because I just want to yell 'Stop being such a doormat/Stepford wife/self-centred controlling woman' and that isn't helpful.
So I hid the board, lest I be burned at the stake for victim-blaming, or expecting too much of the weak and fragile vessel that is woman.

Seriously, keep the boards that entertain you, inform you or challenge you to think. Drop the ones that infuriate and enrage, because no one thinks well when angry.
See, no personal attacks here. A board is not a group Gestalt, a hive mind.

I've just done this - gone and hidden loads of threads, including AIBU and Relationships.

I feel like MN is a brighter place already. Some of the nastiness on AIBU was really getting me down. Now they can all carry on arguing and being nasty to each other and I'll be blissfully unaware

I agree, OP is absolutely entitled to her opinion, which is not to the case on FWR or apparently whenever it's mentioned elsewhere.
