I agree too zippi, it's just diverting attention from the real issue! I also guess that the odd comment like that (which was abviously just a bad joke) is not what was originally objected to but all the negative feedback.

Oh & that MN is like a giant pub, a melting pot of chat/debate, with MN as the publican (again, so just facilitating that debate rather than directly responsible for it).

It does look bad although I think that comment is also helping it get more media interest as it mentions the Lebenon so it's a catch 22 situation. I wish they'd put the comment in context too i'm sure mp didn't actually say that is what nobody actually does.
