Hi, i found this site via Bounty and have to be honest it's so confusing! So many forums, my brain hurts trying to work out where to go and what to look at. It might be it takes some getting used to, and if anyone can help great, but i also dont think the set up and lay out helps much. Sorry. One very confused bountier and potential mumsnetter.

I WANT TO SNOG RICHARD HAMMOND, wehre do we sign up for that? Is it on Bounty? [hopeful emoticon] You shove off MrsJC you stick with your JC

AvaLou · 07/08/2006 14:55

Hi I'm 'brand noo' too, feel free to be lovely to me and poach me from Bounty.

I have been navigating the site by clicking on 'talk' then browsing the list of the individual boards and reading those that are of interest, which works just fine as current messages are at the top anyway.
Is this wrong? Clicking on active just brought up quite a lot of rubbish (sorry) and a lot of 'for sale' ads.

SaintGeorge · 07/08/2006 15:04

AvaLou - try using the 'without buying/selling' option instead, cuts down on the numbers.

'find new messages' is handy if you prefer certain topics. You can choose to search various topics in lots of different ways and select/store your favourites easily.

Is Richard Hammond really wee and tiny, or is it just relative to Big Jeremy, and James who also looks quite a big lad? (A little boy I know refwers to them as Jeremy, the big lad and the small fella). Don't know where else to ask, and need to know.

MrsJohnCusack · 07/08/2006 15:40

oh have sprayed tea all over the keyboard sue!

i think he is quite wee stleger, although perhaps not tiny

hulababy · 07/08/2006 15:43

I couldn't make head nor tale of bounty.

I mainly use active conversations and threads I am on.

Welcome

stleger · 07/08/2006 20:12

suzi2 · 08/08/2006 10:00

Do you know that I've used this site for a year and only just discovered "Active Conversations" yesterday??? It's the way forward though...
