What I want to know is this...

How can a village with a population of 5,500 that no-one has heard of have the highest MN usage in the world?!?!?

NotQuiteCockney · 02/08/2006 10:48

I'd assume it's proportionate to population? Also, that's just about who searches google for "mumsnet".

But yeah, very weird.

MrsBadger · 02/08/2006 10:48

DH thinks it's because there are huge servers or something in Thames Ditton, possibly Claranet or someone equally huge, so lots of net traffic is routed through there.

ahhhhhhh the mist is clearing

Skribble · 02/08/2006 11:05

Perhaps there is just one person there who hasn't figured out how to put mumsnet in her favourites and has to google everytime she wants to log on .

I was brought up in Thames Ditton, though live nowhere near there now. It must be my fault

Salamander · 02/08/2006 11:17

Sorry for suggesting no-one had heard of the place Lilymaid!
