To think that it's a shame that some of the other topics on MN aren't used more?

Does anyone else think this?

I've been wandering over to other topics to ask for advice/ideas on certain things, general type stuff. But I've noticed that some are completely dead. Which then makes me think perhaps there's no point posting.

I've noticed people turn things into an aibu just for traffic.

Thanks for all the points you've raised here - we agree that it would be great to see a wider range of topics being used. We also take the point about there being too many topics. At some point this year (nice and vague) we'll be looking into shaking up Talk a bit. For now we really appreciate your feedback and thoughts about how you'd like the topics to work
