AIBU is incorrect, and I feel this oversight is responsible for all the buggery bollocks on here.

You haven't changed it to

Am I being Unseasonable?

See if you spread a bit of festive cheer like last year than that festering bit of bile part of our beloved forum may become a bit less goady as fuck forthright?

MNHQ, I am very disappointed you've let us down, you've let Christmas down but most of all, you've let yourselves down Sad

Trills and gaggia I'm so with you.

I used to post a very literal YANBU / YABU in answer to the needy / seeking 100s of posts AIBU shite but just got meh'd at [anger]

RebeccaWatchOutRebeccaNotCry sounds a bit like Rebecca is liable to cry at any moment.

Hassled · 23/12/2013 08:54

I'm getting Bob Marley vibes from RebeccaWatchOutRebeccaNotCry. Prefer the shorter version.

My urge to file has been getting stronger and stronger recently. If I had my way I'd have those AIBU about cats/Christmas/fish/baking filed in their rightful spots faster than you can say "YABU you silly cow".

RooneyWanderingStara · 23/12/2013 08:58

Hold on...does that mean...

RooneyWanderingStara · 23/12/2013 08:59

'Sorry, you can't have the word "mumsnet" in your nickname. Please try another.'

Oh Sad

I want blue posts.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 23/12/2013 09:03

Oh, I could have told you Rooners. You have to have the right sort of user profile to have Mumsnet in your name.

Otherwise we'd all be blue.

Xmas Grin

I assume it's keyed to the word Mumsnet so they can have non-HQ names as well.

RooneyWanderingStara · 23/12/2013 09:06

Ah.

pretends to understand

You are so attractive when you talk tech [mwah]

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 23/12/2013 09:08
Xmas Wink

You know how I feel about you, Rooners.

::mwah mwah::

I had such fun with this before Helen got cross they introduced the pesky blue Sad.

It was like when we could type "Message deleted by Mumsnet" - sometimes I did that too, as I reckon it saved everyone time. But now theirs has a special colour so it doesn't work.

They spoil all our fun

Trills · 23/12/2013 10:47

I think that the blue and having the word "Mumsnet" in your name are independently controlled.

The "no Mumsnet in your name" will have been an older rule.

I liked typing Message deleted by Mumsnet too.

Trills · 23/12/2013 10:47

I have given up reporting wrongly-placed threads as I've just got "we're going to leave this because we don't care " as a reply too often now.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 23/12/2013 11:06

I don't report any more either Trills.

It upsets me, all those AIBUs that aren't even attempting to ask if they are BU.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 23/12/2013 11:09

And they always are BU Hmm

80sdrummer · 23/12/2013 11:24

Yes I've stopped both reporting and ranting on the thread. I'm tempted to hide AIBU cos all the "AIBU to ask which pushchair is prettiest?" does my head in...but I'm too nosey and I would miss all the bunfights fun

Trills · 23/12/2013 16:39

I am having a little session right now...
