Our alarm goes off at 6.50, wake dd1 (13, therefore takes forever to get ready, in s2 at school, leaves at 7.40) then get the other 2 up at 7, they leave with dh at 7.35 and he runs them to the bus stop for 7.40, they're 10 and 11, in p6 and p7 at school.

The school is literally across the road from us, if I get up earlier they're ready too soon and start messing about... I've slept in til 8:30 on a couple of occasions due to missing my alarms and still gotten them there by 8:50 when the bell goes.

On the flip side I've been up since 5am for work today and sometimes have to get up at 3:30 to get to the job on time.

I wake up about 7 so I can wake up gradually but don't go into the children's rooms until about 8. We're two minutes away from school as well which does help

get up at 8.10, to get there for 8.50. school is a 10 min walk away
