Could we have a costume swapping part of mumsnet??

All these bloody book days etc.

I have a hamper of bloody costumes.

Can we not have a list on here somewhere of costumes and people just pay postage for them to be sent to them?

I am sure someone will be able to organise it better than I but we buy them, use them once and then they get chucked or sit in bottom of hamper never to see the light of day.

Sounds like a lovely idea - we do feel your pain about the rather demanding costume requirements in some schools...

You're very welcome to organise this sort of thing among yourselves in whichever topic area you think would work best (Primary Education?)

We're afraid we can't help out with any of the logistics though - it sounds like the sort of thing that could, potentially, take a fair amount of organising, which would cut into our cake-eating time rather drastically.

In the medium term we're hoping to roll out the picture functionality across all Talk topics, so you could wait until that happens, or use one of the topics that already allows it?
