Pheasant shooting
Judge Flouce - actually anything with JF in it as she was such a funny poster
But my all time favourite has to be the one where a certain well known Mner came on to complain of a smell only for it to emerge that she had left her last tampon in. That one has me in hysterics every time - mainly the part where it became apparent who the poster was.

There were about 3 pheasant shooting threads - all had nuggets of genius and chaos. Also a great 'MN Cliched Thread Title' thread.
And I loved the way people rose to the challenge on my 'DS to play joseph but is not circumcised dilemma'.

But then do top threads have to be the funny ones? What about threads where people were supported to change thier lives, or trough intense crises?

or great discussional debates?

they're harder to remember though, as they don't have such memorable 'catch phrases'

There were a couple about 'what is british Culture' 'what is english culture' that were good - lots of lovely stiuff from Marina, iirr.

All threads featuring WellKnownMemorablePeachyClair were unforgettable in my book

Well, would have said JF but just read the Working Class boy one and loved it! Missed it at the time. UCM's also a good 'un.

I agree with lots of the funny ones on here, and the JF ones are definitely amongst the most memorable, but this one lists an awful lot of wonderful MN happenings, and is worth a vote I reckon

I always remember the Lizzy Bardsely/Life Swap one. Wasn't funny, just quite MN too.

I loved UCM's recent contribution- she must have known this thread was coming, but also one before xmas about child of atheist parent picked to play Joseph in school nativity. It made me pmsl.. too lazy to try and search for it
