Secret Location on Mumsnet

Does Mumsnet really have a secret area where only those who have happened to be in the right place at the right time know about? I have just seen a load of allusions to a new thread in a secret place and it is the first I have heard about it!

Can you give an example of what I might want to post in there though Mintyy>?

No! I've never felt the need to go otbt, I just namechange for the private/embarrassing stuff.

I am a bit lost. But people must use it and like it so that's the main thing.

Some of the long running threads go in there.

Because people moaned about them coming up in active all the time.

Although why posters didn't just hide them ,I don't know.

I have seen people referred over there for advice about dv as a partner wouldn't be able to search user name

It was created as a "safe space" for people needing to hide.

But it's really no safer than anywhere else on here.

I've had things moved there when posting about a work situation when folks involved or their wives might use MN.
