why can't i make my profile public?

I have new puppy pic to show off!!!!!

I've done the save and 'make public' bit.

Aha yes - it doesn't seem to appear on the mobile site. (Did it used to? Is this a recent change?)

For now, can you start new threads by using the links at the top of individual threads within the appropriate topic? Sorry, we know it's a pain but hopefully will at least mean you can start threads while we sort this out.
