Just when we'd got rid of the Boots forum and Kate gurning Thornton, I'm now being taunted on the Good Housekeeping topic by a flashing dropdown (or whatever the correct adspeak word is) for steam cleaners. I know MNHQ have to pay the rent but is there any way I can hide it?

I think that's exactly the point, isn't it, LackaDAISYcal? There's a balance between being so bland/inoffensive that none of us notices an ad or so in your face that it irritates you and turns you off!
