CALLING ALL DAD'S....

A thread was set up yesterday by me as i was just wondering where the DAD'S go to chat on this website??? to introduce dh to it.

It would appear after much chatting that there aren't any threads, but there are dad's out there somewhere!!

So this thread is basically just for Dad's to make themselves known!!! if they want to!!

Or for mum's to try and persuade their partner's to come on and have a chat.

A woman went to her doctor for a follow-up visit after the doctor had prescribed testosterone . She was a little worried about some of the side effects she was experiencing.
"Doctor, the hormones you've been giving me have really helped, but I'm afraid that you're giving me too much. I've started growing hair in places that I've never grown hair before."
The doctor reassured her, "A little hair growth is a perfectly normal side effect of testosterone. Just where has this hair appeared?"

If men really wanted their own board then they could ask for it..as they haven't presumably they aren't interested or can't be bothered ..I can't think of many topics which are not unisex..other than men's health

Zippiti: Erm... what about street fighting ? We need a section for street fighting and happy slapping discussions / exploits, dangerous driving / speeding raves etc. etc.

A section for dads (I inverted that to avoid placing an apostrophe) gets mooted every now and then. I think the idea might be better than the reality of it IYSWIM, but then again it might make a welcome 'first port of call' to men discovering MN...

giddy - We made the shortlist but no one dropped out of the allocated plots... so we're not going. I am frankly relieved, but still a bit miffed we didn't make it. Not bad for a first try though.

To check whether it should be me or I, you remove the other (first-named) person and see if it still sounds right - eg in your lemon-drizzle keep (sorry) example, without "dw and" the sentence would read "she baked a lemon-drizzle whatever for I"...
