Spoofs, Jokes and Trolls

Right.

I want a serious debate about this.

I started a joke thread, in my own name as usual, about a neighbour stealing a spoon.

It was questioned as "trolling" and I got told off by Rebecca at MNHQ.

Are spoofs and/or jokes no longer allowed?

Since when?

And why?

What do people think about spoofs, jokes and trolls and the difference theereof?

Been catching up after a week away with the YoungFids funded by my very lovely mum, first holiday in years, was much needed.

Meal planning tonight is me on the duty free (thought that had gorn the way of the penny farthing) and FidGirl on salt sticks and a jumbo pack of Maltesers bought at the airport. I appear to have lost the FidBoys but they were on the plane I think so they must be around somewhere.

I reckon I could slay the PO with one duty-free blast.

Yes Tee. You could decamp to a hotel with the wine and chocolate ice cream? And leave the non-wine bringing DH to cope with your mother who sees dirt?

KatieMiddleton · 28/03/2013 20:13

I am amazed I have not been deleted for renaming the trolly poster on that thread Grin

Dh has ordered curry, he's about to go out for booze and the baby is asleep. I'd better at least chat to him now...

TheRealFellatio · 28/03/2013 20:20

I'm here now. I'd like to commet on something/anything upthread but I can't see it straight to read it. Sorrry.

Tee2072 · 28/03/2013 20:22

He has been half forgiven as the ice cream has appeared. I am hopeful for the wine.

Chubfuddler · 28/03/2013 20:24

Are you pissed fellatio?

I've had a whole thread deleted. [pround]

My dses are reasonably good at not eating high value items that are intended for meals later in the week, but bacon is always fair game. What really pisses me off is the way they scarf any leftovers for their breakfasts - this is mainly ds2 and may lead to his early demise. There's a number of thing I make where I make extra, intending the leftovers for my lunch the next day - and I get E Rage when I go to the fridge and find only crumbs or a measly teaspoonful left.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 28/03/2013 20:29

Oh - and I haven't had an Indian takeaway since we moved to Scotland 5 long years ago. I mention this wistfully every so often, but no-one has yet taken the hint. I will have to hint with a bloody great sledgehammer a bit harder!

I might be a nit pissed LaQ, eyes. My brain is willing but my eyes are not playing at all. I can't read stuff.

Pan · 28/03/2013 20:33

Impressive! eleventy billion posts on a thread and no deletions!

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 28/03/2013 20:35

That's because we are all shining examples of good Mnet etiquette darling Pan.

Fiderer · 28/03/2013 20:35

Maryz - I foolishly allowed one of FidBoy2's friends to stay over while we were away. He stays here loads anyway and I trust him, he was on gerbil duty and doesn't get on with his dad so I seem to have half-adopted him.

Foolish though because I didn't spell out/engrave onto the fridge:

"Leave us some food".

Locust in teenage human form.

Chubfuddler · 28/03/2013 20:36

That could change pan.
