Spoofs, Jokes and Trolls

I want a serious debate about this.

I started a joke thread, in my own name as usual, about a neighbour stealing a spoon.

It was questioned as "trolling" and I got told off by Rebecca at MNHQ.

Are spoofs and/or jokes no longer allowed?

Since when?

And why?

What do people think about spoofs, jokes and trolls and the difference theereof?

Clearly. Don't we have anything more important to worry about than this first world problem?

Its boiled down to a bonkers fight about whether internet access in McDonalds is free for all, or just for their customers.

I really want to chime in madame, Usual and a few others are doing some sterling work. I just don't think I have the strength. I'm exhausted just reading it.

I dont really get it either, but clearly there are a lot of strong emotions flying around.

Usual - you can get an adaptor for your USB plug for the kindle so you can charge it from the mains. Much, much quicker.

I just use my Blackberry charger

I think they should come with mains chargers though TBH.

Tantrums - I thought I had the only mum who made their dds' sandwiches with Stork. And I knew she was having her sandwiches at home with plenty of butter whilst I was waiting stork super blend and cheese sarnies at school.

I am ashamed to admit that I didn't realise the spoon thread and the van ones were spoofs. And I don't have much, if any sparkle - and now I am worried I might have repressed Po tendencies. Heeellllp!

actually the thread is fine...seeing the work of a seasoned bridge dweller is always instructive...! am much heartened by most posters.
