I want a serious debate about this.

I started a joke thread, in my own name as usual, about a neighbour stealing a spoon.

It was questioned as "trolling" and I got told off by Rebecca at MNHQ.

Are spoofs and/or jokes no longer allowed?

Since when?

And why?

What do people think about spoofs, jokes and trolls and the difference theereof?

I just bought an ipad (mini) as well and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT

It is the worst thing in the world as I just go on to amazon in bored moments and buy a load more books.

I love my Kindle Fire HD and nothing Trills says will ever change that.

But I have always said I'd rather in iPad. I just don't have the money. Well, an iPad mini. I tried my mother's iPad when she was last here and I think it's too big and heavy.

Apple is far superior in this as they are in many things. The problem is they know it and price accordingly and Tee is stony!

I never liked the ipad, always thought it was too big.

But the mini is brilliant.

BUT what the fuck are apple thinking making their charger cables 3 inches long? When I plug it in to charge I pretty much have to sit with my cheek pressed against a walll.

You want to think yourself lucky it came with a plug charger, all you get with the kindle fire is a usb charger and it takes 3 days to charge it from your PC.

My Kindle Fire HD is the right size, has the right amount of memory and does the right things. What's not to love?

And there are actually several apps on it that Apple doesn't have so I wouldn't be 100% pleased with an iPad. I do have an iPhone, but that's a company expense. Since I theoretically have a company.

I've got an ipad. Admittedly most like because my h felt guilty about considering fucking his PA. But it is still an ipad.

Yes I used the kindle app to buy books - it's all far to easy and convenient.

I use the kindle app. I just lurve turning the page as slowly as possible!

Tee if I remember rightly we were duelling to the death over whether we should drive in 2 inches of snow. Couldn't have been less relevant as I had snow up to my arse and you don't own a car.

Thus proving that bearing grudges about random shite is a terribly odd and pointless thing to do!

Ipadding in the bath , holy cow you live on the edge.

I once carried iPad and DS down the stairs at the same time and had a crisis half way down trying to decide which one I'd save if I lost my balance.

I make two trips now.

Agree that the charging cable is wank though. If it needs charging I have to sit in a chair that I can't see the TV from. Also, why the bollocks can't any more than one company make a bloody docking station for the new charging hole. I'm not paying eleventy million pounds for one but I am thoroughly prepared to whinge like a bitch until people start making cheaper ones.

No, you can't GO. It's the one crap thing about Kindle books. No sharing. You can check things out of the library with it, though, if your library has that.
