Spoofs, Jokes and Trolls

Right.

I want a serious debate about this.

I started a joke thread, in my own name as usual, about a neighbour stealing a spoon.

It was questioned as "trolling" and I got told off by Rebecca at MNHQ.

Are spoofs and/or jokes no longer allowed?

Since when?

And why?

What do people think about spoofs, jokes and trolls and the difference theereof?

Dd1 tried to make me let her watch telly in her bedroom with her boyfriend because "the batteries are gone in the remote downstairs, and it would just be easier" Hmm. Yeah, EASIER TO GET PREGNANT. I don't think so, love.

I don't even know if this is still going on as my arsing phone is broke and I can't bloody scroll or refresh or nuffink. But I would like to second Hully's motion that The Po are fucking with the MN Culture of Lark. I stopped posting on here at Christmas because I got so completely bloody fed up with The Offended being Offended by absolutely fucking everything, all of the time. And especially those who will take an innocuous remark and then accuse posters of being 'ist' about a group/race/gender etc. Frankly it's foul on some levels and utterly boring as arse on others.

I dipped a tentative toe back in recently but I hardly post at all. I can't be bothered with it. Every bloody thread gets derailed. Everywhere everywhere people are Offended.

It is boring and it used to be fun Sad

My children don't have sex , well DD must have, because she has children, but I don't like to think about that.

I was in the office until 7.20 and worst of all I have no sodding wine. I hate you all especially pag and her Martinis in sunny climes.

Do you think if I ring domino pizza and ask them to put the pizza in the bin but bring a bottle of wine from the offie next door they might oblige?

BIWI that's total and absolute crap and I totally feel for you. I freelance and haven't had a client since before Christmas. Luckily my husband has a good job so we're not dependant on me but we are scraping by right now even with his salary.

And it's quarter to nine and I think I have to get my tired achy body to bed.

There's so many threads about would you allow it under your roof, but I'm his mum, I've taught him to respect women and have nagged his head off about condoms.
What else can you do unless they end up shagging in a field somewhere.(Highlands, there's a lot of open spaces).

Aww thank you for caring about my EA thread Getoeuf. It was reported by a couple of po-sters (see what I did there?) on it before me. I reported it myself in a "fuck you" kinda way.

Am going to Spain, Hully. Nowhere near as glam as Pag's hideout, but the forecast for the weekend is 23 degrees so am happy Smile.
