Why have you gone and added that bloody Facebook Recommend button to the mobile site!

It disturbs me greatly. I knew it was on the main site but at least on mobile I could pretend it doesn't exist.

But now there it is.

I don't like it. I don't want it.

Sorry to hear it disturbs you, Taggie.

You can go to Customise and edit your settings so that it doesn't display at all for you.

How does it work?? If I click the Facebook button does it show up on just my news feed or does it show on the Mumsnet page so anyone who likes that page can see it?

It'll show in your feed, EverythingIsTicketyBoo. It's a two-step process, so you can have a go and see what it would look like - and then click away if you decide you don't want to post it onto your feed after all.

It's not been doing it for ages, Helen. I thought it was deliberate, so posters couldn't mutter darkly about how many times contentious threads had been shared.
