Anyone having issues on iPad?

Not an ipad stealth boast honest (although did I mention I have a beautiful new ipad?)

I can't open any threads I've bookmarked, MN just crashes and flicks off.

Plus the whole site is really sticky.

Anyone else or is it just me?

No update and newish iPad

So, should we download the software update then? Because two of my friends have IPads, although only one the same make as mine (Mini) if that matters, and after downloading, their IPads effectively stopped working.

My IPad is the 4 so shouldn't be a problem with updates.Did have an update thing but I ignored it although my 9 year old son kept saying I needed to do it,will check with dp to see if they did it.

Doesn't seem to be problems on any other sites.

No update here...well nothing that should matter (candy crush app)...Aand I was having problems both before and after I updated candy crush.

Also I am on the mobile site via an android phone not apple device.

Hello. Just to clarify, is the issue with using Mumsnet on an iPad in Safari? Or is it a problem with using the Mumsnet iPad app? I'm going to stop playing angry birds and try to recreate the problem. Thanks.

So, it seems that old and new iPads/iPhones with and without software updates are affected. And only on MN, other sites Ok.

Mine is just using MN in Safari,don't have the app.

It keeps crashing on my iPad too. I updated the OS earlier but that didn't solve the problem. (Using safari, not the app).

Mine is the same on iPad with safari. Haven't done the latest update. I actually though my iPad was broken!

Me too, using safari - I've not updated either. I got pissed off and am now on the laptop instead!

Off to get hair cut now, am hoping all will be restored to normal when I get back.

Argh, I stand corrected. Worked fine for a few minutes. Now is same as pre-update. All other websites are fine and speedy but not MN!

Should say that now it is a bit different. Loading takes ages, but it doesn't crash and isn't sticky and easy once it has loaded.

Dp just e-mailed to say he did the update Sunday night so that's that theory then as it was fine yesterday and is still playing up now(just checked).

I am getting kicked out of safari too on the iPad.

MNHQ I cant see any content on the roundup emails on ipad 1 anymore.

iPad 3 on ios 6.1.2 (most recent update) on safari, crashes when loading large threads for me. This one opened ok though. But typing is a split second behind and scrolling jiggery.

Same here, I'm on an iPad but cannot give any more details cos I haven't a clue what Safari is

It happens when opening long threads. When I go back on MN it's also logged me out.
