Hi - normally I ignore the ads on the right when I'm on the site as they are static and, more importantly, silent.
But this morning, at my work desk, I opened a couple of threads on talk to catch up on before work and a very LOUD woman's voice started shouting at me about bloody Ocado. I had to flip through the tabs and urgently scroll to the top of each one (I use bookmarks on the threads I watch) to find the offending advert and even then there was no way to mute or stop the advert.
I'm really, very annoyed about this. Does this mean that I'm going to have to turn the sound off on my PC every time I want to come onto MN in case another awful shouty advert comes on? That's completely impractical.
