Updated MN App for iPhone

What the FRIFF happened to my MN App? I finally gave in and updated it yesterday, and a) It's gone funny colours, b) The smilies are evil-looking, and c) I can't use the damn thing because it will let me read threads but not post on there because I'm 'not connecting', despite being able to use all my other Apps and now use the mobile site.

I want my App to work!!

Hello. And yes, we have some ongoing 'issues' with the app, we're afraid.

We know about the smilies Xmas Angry but it's strange that it's not letting you post, MerryCouthyMows.

Sorting out app problems does take us longer than sorting out other Tech problems because there are lots of extra stages involving outside parties.

But we are on the case. And we are sorry it's less than ideal at the mo.

Might be an idea to keep on using the mobile site, if that's working well for you, until we can release the app fixes though...

Yeah- i agree - hate the new app and the 'smileys' are evil looking and not clear Grin Who in MN headquarters approved them???

We've posted on your other thread, spudmurphy, but we didn't "approve" them, honest. There was some almighty glitch - we're on the case.
