Mumsnet pages too wide for my phone!

Have been reading the site very successfully on my Android phone but suddenly, the pages don't seem to fit? I'm having to scroll across the page to read which didn't seem to happen before.

What's happened?!

Oh mine to, I thought it was my phone, and have done what treaclesoda has done to. Don't like it but no scrolling required.

Its the same for me and very annoying!

Are y'all on the mobile site? Mines fine on my iPhone.

Mine too, very glad others are having the problem as I was beginning to think I'd broken it.

HAHAHA... As I posted that I got the "Mumsnet is offline" page...

Definitely on the mobile site, there's a great whacking purple button that says "Desktop site" visible on the screen.

I've reported the thread to HQ since it isn't in Site Stuff, so they can see it and respond. Although maybe not on a Saturday.

I am on the mobile site as well. I have trued turning my page round and logging in and out etc nithing helped.

As it firsr loads it comes up fine and then all of a sudden the page gets too wide.

me too - Ive fiddled with settings to fit page to screen which is working quite well

I've just downloaded the app and actually I quite like it. Although it would be nice to have the colour coded posts, it's easier to navigate than the mobile site and very intuitive.

Thank goodness for that, thought it was just me...

This is really fucking me off! Sort it out!!

It starts to display correctly then gets wide. Maybe an issue with the logo?

Thank goodness it's not just me! It was freaking me out and I was not happy at the thought of having to scroll all through my Christmas MNing while family members watch tv I don't like

I'm also using the mobile site and having exactly the same experience - fine when loading but then goes wide, switching on and off doesn't help, no other site it doing it. My phone uses Android - I notice the first poster here said that too, amd someone else with an iPhone said it wasn't affecting them. Is this specifically an Android problem?

Happening to me too - I really dont want to have to drag put the laptop every time I fancy a natter!

Hi, Let us know if this is still happening. We are looking at it as a matter of urgency, but it might be Monday before it's fully sorted.
