So I've noticed (or just worked out. Or both) that if you scroll right down past the 'reply' box you can see another 'I'm On' button. That gets over my "Waaaah no floaty Bar!" panic, because I don't have to scroll back all the way up to the top of the page to move on from what I'm reading.
