Shame, I haven't received an email from MNHQ explaining why.

I started a test thread, and now cannot respond.

This also happened 4 weeks ago, and HQ still haven't replied to my original email.

Wonder if this will be posted?

Very weird MNHQ and bad form. Why not just tell me what I've done and do the decent thing and give me a chance to respond?

I suppose but I meant if it was just made up. Would that not be considered trolling?

scottishmummy · 20/08/2012 21:58

DanyTargaryen · 20/08/2012 22:01

I think coming on to a thread with the sole intention of ruffling a few feathers is bad form, myself, Scottishmummy

BlackberryIce · 20/08/2012 22:04

Tany if you can understand her, that is!

BlackberryIce · 20/08/2012 22:05

Dany

LookBehindYou · 20/08/2012 22:08

I think Dolly is just a bit dizzy scottishmummy. Nothing more sinister than that. Ask Olympia nicely if you can share her sherry.

PacificDogwood · 20/08/2012 22:11

Dizzy? Dizzy?? Really Shock

GettingOnSome · 20/08/2012 22:12

I think it's their policy.

They're a bunch of cunts

MigratingCoconuts · 20/08/2012 22:16

If I drink more wine will this thread start making sense?

giraffesCantGoBackToSchool · 20/08/2012 22:17

She meant girrafes, but you thought she meant giraffes and she thought you thought she thought you meant giraffes - clear as mud? Good! Grin

Vodka anyone?

LookBehindYou · 20/08/2012 22:18

It's a fine line Migrating

giraffesCantGoBackToSchool · 20/08/2012 22:18

And apparently I can't even spell giraffes now

scottishmummy · 20/08/2012 22:18

BlackberryIce · 20/08/2012 22:19

Dizzy? Are we talking DM?

LookBehindYou · 20/08/2012 22:20

I thought it was deliberate giraffes. It made sense to me.
Scottishmummy, I don't know anything but you're becoming a bit offensive.

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 20/08/2012 22:20

Just to clarify Giraffes great aunt was a Trolley-dolley with SAS here

Which is why Giraffes is the self professed Troll investigation unit of MN....

giraffesCantGoBackToSchool · 20/08/2012 22:32

The SAS aunt story was a bit troll type behaviour actually. You see...My sisater was in 2nd year of school and for class had to interview an elderly member of family. My Grandad had just died, Gran grieving and none on the other side. The point of the exercise was to ask relevant questions and conduct a good interview. So I stepped up as the role of great-Aunt- I can't remember what we chose. Anyway she was supposed to be a rather feisty but batty character. Classic answer that is quoted years later is "I enjoy countdown, knitting and the occasional plum" She was also a member of the SAS - sewing association society. Ahh I miss her :( RIP great aunt madeupname

garlicnuts · 20/08/2012 22:32

Dolly, please start a thread Grin to tell us what device you're posting from. Are you using an app? Does Mumsnet look the same as it normally does? Oh, and are you dizzy? Wink

giraffesCantGoBackToSchool · 20/08/2012 22:36

Thing is my sister was (like me) a complete goody goody at school, the teacher bought it completely and read it out as an example of a good interview. I am sure the teacher just thought we had a rather interesting family.

scottishmummy · 20/08/2012 22:36

yes are you dizzy
or is that idle speculation
will you get a pseudonym and disguise if you're banned
