Suddenly am finding randomly that the page doesn't work properly, particularly the "post message" button when I've typed a long post!

As far as we're aware there isn't a problem with Chrome (I use it myself!). Sometimes when we have a site glitch/tech update, it logs everyone out - it might be that this has happened while you're composing a long post?
