is advanced search on the blink?

I have tried to AS a couple of posters names earlier and both times it came up with 0 discussions, 0 messages. I had tried to C+P or type the names in by hand, didn't work. They had not been deleted, still had current posts, so I am confused. (was checking them out before reporting, rather than stalking BTW Wink )

Is there a knack I am missing?
