Having just come back to check on the nasty step mother thread from earlier (fully expecting it to have gone up in flames due to all the cunting swearing) could I suggest a new section in Site Stuff just called deleted threads where only MN staff can post the thread title along with a quick explanation (e.g. In this case, the thread was deleted because everyone got raging mad and ranty or the OP has hairy toes and lives under a bridge)?
Just so if people can't find a thread, they don't have to start a new one to ask what happened.
