There are some sweary grans, but they are outnumbered by the more hoickybosom ones.

I got embroiled in quite a heated debate about it when Gransnet first started. In the end, I figured that as it was their site, and that it had to create its own 'vibe', that if they wanted it that way then it was up to them! I was really only there helping to get things going when it first started.
