How should we respond to PMs from journos/ researchers

I thought they weren't supposed to use the PM facility. I've had one from some tv researcher. I can ignore it, of course.

I think blackmail is always good. Ask for about forty quid, or you'll shop then to HelenMumsnet.

Please report it to us belinda, as you say, they really shouldn't be using the PM system for that.

I didn't report mine, just ignored it. Particularly as it was about something I'd written about 3 years ago. Honestly, as if I still hold the same opinions now :o

They didn't say exactly ( and I post a fair amount, have been here for 6 ish years) but they are focussing on behaviour. Clearly I have implied somewhere that DD is capable of bad behaviour worthy of a tv show

Ugh, I hadn't thought they'd be targeting me specifically based on my postings! It's some tv show about behaviour. I've been posting about toddler DD and her lovely new little habit of proudly lining up pellets of poo on her chest of drawers at night. As if I'd go on tv to talk to Dr Pixie about that!!
