It's been bloody ages. And I needed mumsnet.

It does seem to be spending a lot of moments offline at the moment!

Here here . And it makes me lose posts...

Have MNHQ said anything about all the downtime. Tis starting to get annoying. I opened about 10 tabs to read, and each one had that message!

Annoying isn't it? added to the MN woes, DD is watching Glee for the ninetytwentyfourth time.

If you press the refresh button you shouldn't lose your posts. Just look at other websites on another tab in the meantime.

AAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH I just wrote a long reply on a thread and went to preview it and poof. GGGGRRRR not happy now MN. I dont want to go to the dark side, but I can't be wasting my time writing lots of words for it to disappear

Nah, if it was DDOS we'd be off for more than minutes at a time.

I think they need a new host or new hosting servers if they self host. A million hits a minute is draining on any server.

I came to start a thread but beaten to it.

This cheeses me right off! Happens all the time

FFS, if MN goes offline once more I may be forced to go and make conversation with DP. And thats just not on.
Last time that happened DS was born 9 months later

The last 3 nights (I think the last 3 nights) there has been a lot of MN-down-time. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed MN, otherwise I might have to do something useful like laundry, or cooking, or cleaning, or ironing, or shoe polishing, orpacked lunch making......

Loads today too. It's driving me crazy.

Mine went poof because I clicked off that page (ie preview message - which I dont usually do, but as it was so long and I had an internet link in there I just wanted to check it) and it went to the we are offline for a few minutes. I hadnt highlighted and copied it so I lost it.
