We at MNHQ have eaten Hot Cross buns and too many mini eggs deliberated and hatched a shortlist. [bugrin]

I mean, I thought it was shorthand for "talk to the hand cos the face ain't listening" but that doesn't make sense in the way you've just used it...

I think she is demonstrating a palm hitting her forehead, in horror at not being a bit quicker - Homer Simpson's "doh!" kind of thing.
