I know it means I have an unread message somewhere, but I have just trawled through them all (the many thousands ) and I can't find it!
I don't like the red dot being there all the time! So what can I doooooo???

Hello Bibbity, I'll have a look for your unread message.
The problem where your most recent message wasn't visible should be fixed now - it was only there for a few minutes last week, so I don't think it's that. Will report back....

But, Mary, how could you say they were boring? What with one being a comprehensive list of all the name changes of all mumsnetters ever in the whole history of Mumsnet.
And the second being a cut & paste job of what they were saying over on modlies on the night it all kicked off!

Hi, We've made a small change to PMs so that you can look at unread-only PMs. So if you have a red dot and can't see the unread message easily, change the dropdown at the top of the list (next to the word Inbox) from "All messages" to "Unread only" and you should be able to see just the messages you haven't already read.
Tap "Watch" to get all the latest updates
