Please could we have a "delete all" button?

Deleting individually, or even highlighting several and then deleting is really annoying.

Or am I missing an existing function to do this ?

I don't think that there is AF but I can ask.
You can, as you say, check all of the boxes and then click 'delete selected messages' or you can go through them one by one.

AnyFucker · 24/01/2012 10:05

Rebecca, I have pm's going back to the middle of last year. I have to keep deleting them in batches because it is so tiresome and fiddly to do.

I get a lot of pm's, I love the system, but a "delete all" feature where you can "uncheck" would be great

At the minute, it seems arse-road about Smile

Stop showing off

It would take me 2 nanoseconds to delete 'all' my pms

AnyFucker · 24/01/2012 10:13

I send a lot too Smile

Some people use the pm system a lot, some people do not Grin

I object to this thread as it comes across as all smug and stealth boasty. "ooh, look at me, I have too many PMs cos I'm so popular I would like a special facility to delete them all".

Or, are they random spammy/porny ones I've heard of people getting?

AitchTwoOhOneTwo · 24/01/2012 10:17

what are you sending that you can't say on-board, AF? Wink Grin

AnyFucker · 24/01/2012 10:19

oi, nothing dodgy you dirty minded people Smile

AbsofCroissant · 24/01/2012 10:21

Or did you do something spectacularly stupid a bit dim like Hully and complain about not getting shitty PMs?

PuraVida · 24/01/2012 10:23

Glows and feels loved

See nanosecond

Absy you leeetle liarbags, I PM you shizzle all the time.

AbsofCroissant · 24/01/2012 14:09

I don't think requests for a lesbian affair really counts Pinot.

Yes, it was magical, that once, but it's not happening again my dear, i'm sorry.

Hassled · 24/01/2012 14:12

I could delete all my PMs in the time it takes me to blink. True fact.

In fact when I do get a PM I only notice because I get an email, and I do a little "what do they mean, Private Message?" double take.

In fairness, I never send any.

AnyFucker · 24/01/2012 15:09

In all honesty I have never had a pm to request a lesbian affair

I would keep those

AF, BTW. I had an idea, should you want to have a less, erm, forthright MN name. You could have "AnyBabyDancer". Nice, right?

AnyFucker · 24/01/2012 17:10

wrong Grin

AbsofCroissant · 24/01/2012 17:33

You could even go on Netmums with that name and be accepted.

AnyFucker · 24/01/2012 18:13

I am already a member of netmums < whistles >

Shock
SuePurblybilt · 24/01/2012 18:18

AF just wants us all to ask about THAT PM. With DP nekkid on the candlewick.

AnyFucker · 24/01/2012 18:25

Sue, I have already spilled that allll over MN

The therapy session is booked for next week...

O.M.G. I thought Pinot only flashed her norks for the eolegs. Now I find out she's offering lezzie affairs.

Chinateacup · 24/01/2012 18:38

Erm sorry to go back on topic, but can you PM from iPhone? I can't find where to if indeed you can. Thanks!
