Another vote for the thread to be moved out of chat. classics of general health doesnt bother me but there are a number of phrases and expression possibilities that could arise from this that it would be brilliant to link to for newbies the unaware rather then having to try to explain.

No, MmeL is still MmeL. I've been on here for over 8 years, but mostly lurk, and rarely post anywhere other than the Living in the US threads. I can be either, because I jokingly call DH bucket (rhymes with fuck it), but picked my name because of MmeBookay. (Madame Bucket was taken, but I searched and didn't find one on here for years and years.

have switched but not sure i like it. Might try something else. Always been XXBitchy so perhaps mixing it up a bit will confuse those who i already confuse with my regular name changing but "know" me might be a nice change.

There's so many people on here, it is hard to not have a name that can be associated with someone else. I was thinking of changing mine to aer;oaierhkj hwerjh so as not to confuse anyone.

Tbh i haven't kept a name for long for a long time and am at the moment torn between leaving mn all together and staying. The support is amazing but it would almost be nice to have all my posts deleted so that I can escape rl a bit. Dealing with rl is a long winded process that seems to be totally unsatisfying. Watching posts go poof and evaporate otoh much quicker and easier. this too shall pass

I vote for this in classics too.

It is the best thread I've read in ages, and it's at least twice as good as some of the classics we've already got. And it is one if the very few times I could have written the hideous term lol and it would have been true.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaassssseeeeeput it in classics.

AND it is much more like what I joined mumsnet for, not the bitchfest it sometimes is now so let's have it classiced purely on the back of bringing back the good old days.

I agree with phil It's the humour of the thread and the replies that make it classic. There's no one-upmanship or anything - it's a big part of what MN is about for me.

I come for advice when needed but have RL friends for that. A conversation about cuntworms is just so far from RL, and bloody hilarious that it can't disappear.
