Anyway, what I want on MN is something to resolve this situation. You know when you're scanning Active Convos and you see something juicy but then you spot what might be a bunfight and you click on the one that's most pressing, then you click back and Active has moved on and the thread's gone and you're buggered if you can remember wtf it was. Sometimes it comes round again but sometimes you just know you missed a good 'un. I want some way of holding it in place or watching it without opening it, so that I can go back to it.

Nobody watches threads but yes Ursula is right, you open it, you lose the other one. So yes put the watch function on active. Or the option to have it there. Same as hide.
