Crows and magpies are lovely. And ravens and rooks and jackdaws. Stop being corvidist.

Ravens don't have grey heads. Jackdaws? Do you live in the highlands as they could be hooded crows?

Magpies are NOT lovely they are bastards! All of them. The UK ones kill the little birds and the Australian ones are just bastards.

I have nothing against jackdaws, ravens and rooks - although I have my doubts about crows, ever since reading Watership Down.

Herons eat ducklings too. DP has a picture of a duckling flying along upside down in the mouth of a mouth, beak open as it is squawking away.
